Working Groups & Working Areas
The essential part of the network job is done in the working groups.
Each working group is headed by a working group leader, who acts as contact person and initiates the working group meetings.
In the menu on the left you will find further information on the working groups.
Task Forces and Working Groups Overview
The organizational chart shows the functional structure of the association representing the task forces as a central to the work of the association and represent the main platform for thematic cooperation of member companies.
Each task force not only working with other groups. It is also assigned to a "external target group", which can be focused by the association members.
Each member can get involved – that’s how the task forces work
The topics of the working groups are not specified by the Board or the office, but are fully introduced by the member companies themselves.
For this, the member company applies the group leader and ask for admission of a new issue in the agenda for the next task force meeting.
These topics are going to be discussed on the next task force meeting and appropriate actions will be derived, such as ascertainment of demand from other club members or organization external experts as well as giving some special events.
All decisions are made democratically. Large and small companies have equal voting rights - no one is advantaged or disadvantaged.
Regularity creates stability and business confidence
The task force meetings are held at intervals of 6-8 weeks. Meeting location is usually the airport Leipzig-Halle because of the favorable geographical location between the cities of Leipzig and Halle. There is usually an average of 15-25 members attending the meeting. The group of participants is essentially constant, the company can also, depending on the topics let an other employee to participate.
Varied integration of logistics companies - from the CEO to the department heads
The integration of the logistics companies in the association takes place at all levels. While the upper management level (CEO, heads of the establishment) takes part mostly in the Logistics Task Force, the staff of middle management personnel is more interested in marketing and innovation task forces.
Cooperation at all levels - that is our goal
The cooperation of the members takes place on the personal level of cooperation partners, as well as on business and technical level. We search for new solutions to support the cooperation of the member companies and institutions also technically. The development of logistics cloud Leipzig-Halle represents a central element of this issue.
