To search for members you have two options.

1. You can search for words, parts of words or phrases. You can use amongst others the following operators:
   ‘*’ - wildcard operator (has to be appended); Words match if they begin with the word preceding the * operator.
   ‘+’ - A leading plus sign indicates that this word must be present in each row that is returned.
   ‘-’ - A leading minus sign indicates that this word must not be present in any of the rows that are returned.
   ‘"’ - A phrase that is enclosed within double quote (‘"’) characters matches only rows that contain the phrase literally, as it was typed.
2. You can filter the results by selecting one ore more competencies. To do so please click on a main category and its competencies are revealed.
   This can also be used independent of 1st option.

The results are ordered first by relevance of the full-text search, afterwards by relevance of the competency filters and at last alphabetically.
